FLOCKSCREEN™ Avian Influenza PCR Kit Shelf Life Efficacy Guarantee

The association of x-OvO Limited with a world leading international reference laboratory for avian influenza diagnosis allows the company’s products to be evaluated constantly for efficacy against novel emerging strains of avian influenza viruses.  This constant evaluation process is extremely important, given the tendency of avian influenza to mutate as it circulates within domestic and wild bird populations.

In response to these properties of the virus, x-OvO Limited is pleased to announce the offer of a guarantee of diagnostic efficacy valid for the entire shelf life of every FLOCKSCREEN™ PCR Kit purchased.  If, at any time during the course of their routine diagnostic activities an OIE reference laboratory, determines that genetic mutations in any group A, H5, H7 or H9 viruses circulating in the field will lead to sub-optimal PCR primer binding, x-OvO Limited will proactively contact customers and supply any new primer/probe sets required to update their FLOCKCREEN™ AI-4, AI-3 or AI-1 product.

As recipients of field samples from all over the world, clients may be assured that the genetic diversity of the OIE reference laboratory sample load ensures the most rapid response possible to any changes seen in circulating field viruses.
